I'm a gifted pianist, composer, and educator who has been a cornerstone of the Milford, IA community for over four decades. With a career spanning more than 40 years, Diane has taught piano lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, shaping the musical landscape of the Okoboji area and beyond.
Her unwavering passion for music has been evident not only in her teaching but also in her performances, compositions, and arrangements, which have brought joy and beauty to countless weddings, church services, and events.
Diane’s musical journey is deeply personal. She has recorded several music albums that reflect her exceptional talent and diverse range, offering listeners a glimpse into her unique style and soul. She has also authored and published music books, showcasing her custom piano arrangements and compositions, which have been embraced by musicians and music lovers alike.
One of Diane’s greatest joys is creating custom piano arrangements. She takes pride in crafting music that perfectly captures the spirit of special occasions, whether it’s a wedding ceremony, a church service, or a community event. Her arrangements are known for their emotional depth and artistry, transforming the atmosphere of any event into something truly memorable. Diane’s love for playing in church services, especially, has been a significant part of her life. She served as the Praise Director at her church for ten years, where she not only led the musical direction of the congregation but also formed deep, meaningful connections with the community through her music.
While her musical talents are vast, Diane’s life outside of music is just as rich and fulfilling. She has lived in Milford her entire life, finding peace and joy in her home and garden. Gardening is one of her favorite hobbies, offering her a peaceful escape where she can nurture the beauty of nature in much the same way she nurtures the talents of her students. Diane also treasures spending time with her grandchildren, who bring endless joy and inspiration to her life.
Diane is married to her husband, Eric, and together they have created a home filled with love, faith, and music. Her lifelong commitment to both her craft and her community is a testament to her deep-rooted values and her unwavering desire to make the world a more beautiful place through the gift of music.
